Final round of China's 5th Japanese speech contest held in Tokyo

Sixteen Chinese students went to Tokyu for The 5th China Japanese Speech Contest. It was the round of this contest. Chinese students came from 16 universities. Bai Yinlien, a student from China. She took the first place for this contest. Chinese students learned about Japanese culture. The topic of this contest is the Chinese culture that I want to introduce to Japanese people. It was a good activity for teenager between two countries. This contest was a contest that Chinese student told about Chinese culture. Therefore, this contest can exchange culture between China and Japan.

In my opinion, I think this activity is very good for children because children can show their idea to other people also they learn knowledge from other sides. It can improve their speaking skill and think step by step.

China makes further push for tobacco-free schools

I chose this topic because nowadays students around the world have to smoke in their school so this is a big problem in education world. People should pay attention about tobacco for their children. There are too many smokers in china so students are copy smoke behavior from smokers.

China’s education controlled smoking area for students. Students and visitors can not smoking in education institutes. Government in china banned tobacco in campus so students can not see any tobacco in school. Teachers and staffs cannot smoke in front of students because students maybe copy this behavior to themselves. The government distributed no-smoking sign in every school. Tobacco advertising has controlled by government so tobacco cannot be a part of students life. China has 300 million smokers and one million people die from tobacco disease.

In my opinion, I think this news is important news because numbers of smoker are increase. Tobaccos in Thailand are easy to buy so students can be smokers easily. A government must be legislation a strong law about tobacco.

2 Xiamen players join China national badminton team

I choose this news because Badminton is a popular sport in Asia so I am excited in this sport when I see badminton tournaments. This news is about 2 young players who have been selected to China international team.

Hong Wei and Liu Chen are 2 young Xiamen badminton players. The first one, Hong Wei, he is 21 years old. His parent was professional basketball players. In last year’s National Games, Hong Wei and his partner became 3rd in the men’s double badminton game. The second one is Liu Chen; he is only 18 years old. He selected to the national team. He got 2 champions in last year. Liu Chen and his partner won World Junior Badminton in Mexico then he won the mixed doubles championship with Hunan girl Bao Yixin.

In my opinion, I think we should support young player for national team. Hong Wei and Liu Chen are supported by his country. They have an ambition and clear goal. Badminton is very popular in China so I think both of them will be famous persons in the world.

I choose this topic because I am very interested in football game. China is located near Thailand so it can make these areas more popular. FIFA World Cup is not only popular in Thailand but also popular around the world.

China hopes to be a host of 2026 FIFA World Cup because China is interested in South Africa World Cup. Moreover, People in China are crazy in football and very excited. The head of the Chinese Football Association, Wei Di, who wants to apply China for the World Cup. Wei said China has enough strength and service. China has 4 big stadiums. Bird’s nest stadium in Beijing is the most important stadium in China because this stadium was used in Olympic Games. The next World Cup will be in Brazil in 2014.

I think, this news is an important news because it is a good way to improve sport in Asia. I really love this event because this event is the most popular in the world. China can be a host of World Cup 2026 because this country has a good environment, technology and stadium.
